Goolooloo’s Crapping Point

Dunno if your gambling mood still around or not. But for me, the heat is still ON! Haha. This chinese new year i did not have much chance to "fa cai" / gamble. Y? Cos my time at Miri are just too short, as i said time not enuff lo!

Feeling lucky since i back to Sibu, so i start to find "kaki" for Black Jack. I tot no body would entertain me, but who knows it turns out so many unfamiliar faces. Haha! See, Black Jack could be more attractive than anything!

While playing ,I still manage to take a snap. Ooops!

This entry might be the first ever entry that i comment about food. And i am not praising but teasing. Ooops!

Infact, year ago, when i first arrive Sibu, a friend did tell me tat "XXX cafe" is popular with the Ba Kut Teh, somehow, i never have chance to drop by so until today i manage to go there and try out.

The business is very good, crowded with people, and have to wait for seats somemore. However i am so lucky to get a  good "feng shui" place, and the order are fast.

Impatiently, the food come, i took photo, while i keep thinking it must be delicious. Somehow from the pic, u can see, there is no "you cha kueh"- only available upon request. The rice no fried onion & there is only 1 type of rice, which is white rice. And look into the main dish - only 3 pcs of meat, n few slices of "pig liver". Okay i start eating. Wait , i took another snap first!


I start eating greedily, the main thing about Ba Kut Teh should be the soup. I can only grade it as B-, its even lousier than any Miri Bak Kut Teh. Its not hot, and its not thick.  Hmm.. 2nd ly- the meat, i only took 2 pcs, cos its so hard to bite, more important, it doest taste fresh. I only like the "pig liver" in the whole bowl of Ba Kut Teh. And lastly , not to waste, of cos i still finish the soup la, since it cost RM 6.50 - quite cheap lar..

Overall, i dont really understand, why sibu ppl so interested with this Ba Kut Teh. Maybe they never tried the Best Ba Kut Teh from Klang?

Mr. Poh more clever.. cos he choose to eat RM2 Kolok Mee. Cheap and Nice. Hahaha..

Somehow not to offend anyone la, maybe the food just doenst suit my appetite. Bcos i am from Miri ma!

Time is not enough for me to gather with all my friends, very sorry to them especially Yahui who come back from spore, but i couldnt make it. Sigh..

On 17th, my pack schedule started. The FAX airline , faxed me back to Miri punctually. I rushed for my new year eve dinner at Boulevard Restaurant. Nothing is great except my whole family can gather together. =) Food & Service are just too poor, in fact, they run out of staff for such a big event. The "tauke nioh", even have a solo performance. Agogo dance some more..Gosh!

From their faces, i can only feel tat its really boring & uneasy.

CNY day 01, Relatives come visiting, and i joined my ex colleagues from <OISB> doing home to home visiting. At nite, lakkia gathered at Liang’s new house & GAMBLING START!

CNY day 02, i keep thinking tat i will have a good rest after all the "til late" event. But i was wrong, 8am my dad wake us up to pay a visit to my Relatives. Aduhai.. But at least i still got Ang Pao to get. Not so bad la! Hehe..Follow on, I start "Friends Visiting". Yeah, its very happy to meet old friends, but at the same time, we still have to busy for the miscellaneous item for the Gathering on 3rd day. Hmm!


This is the gold pig, as this is the year of Pig. Can be seen everywhere. Thank u to Super Save for selling it at RM9.99 only.

CNY day 03, preparation for gathering. Time not enough, we have lots of things to get ready. Such as slide show, ticket, prizes, cakes, event, bla bla..

Finally the nite is ON. All the effort put for the gathering finally took place that nite. Really appreciate for all the support given by my friends for participating the gathering. The committee also has put so much effort to make the nite more happening. Prizes were all taken by the lucky ones.

Hungry for FOOD faces..

Its really great that there are total of 86 ppl attending the gathering. But i am hoping that more ppl could join us for the next gathering Organized by Long & Siok Syen.

The next morning , i am once again FAXED back to SIBU again. Arrgh! Back to work!! See, nothing can be happier than holiday. Working life while others still enjoying holiday. So unfair le!!! I want more holidaysSsssss!

Chinese New Year is coming too.. Gong Xi Gong Xi!


Our ChungHua 99 gathering will be held on 20thFeb07, 3rd day of CNY. 7pm @ Eastwood Valley (Musical Corridor). Being part of the organizer, I’m actually hoping that everyone will join, but somehow, not everyone can spend their time with their ex schoolmates, some ppl are busy with their family, some cannot leave from their work place and some might be outstation. Hhmm!! Its really difficult these days to get contact with the old schoolmates.

I tried to send SMSes to friends, some did reply, some just ignore, some even ask back who am i (infact , its written i am Mary Ting).. haha.. and i even got wrong number. Tats really funny. Some friends has change their phone number, i cant even get tru at all. Some friends has turn me down, but i know they have their own reason. I don’t blame. I can understand it very well.

Got ppl come to tell me that , gathering actually no fun. Why? Cos mostly those clever ppl go only, those from science stream going,.. really have to change their point of view. It doesnt meant Science side ppl can success, art side ppl also got so many become "big boss" nowadays. I am also from Art Stream ma.. correct Tat means i am very stupid lol? haha.. perhaps!

But i dont care. I still wanna change their mind.. nowadays no more says science or art liao la.. as long as we gather, watever topic can come out, watever ppl can mix up. Its really hard to get a chance for us to gather up once a year. So we must appreciate it! Come’on friends!! If u are reading this, i am really hoping you will join the gathering.

I promise those who turn up for the gathering wont be disappointed. We are treating everyone the same. Fair n Square! So.. i am waiting for your good news ah!
