Research for my coming holidays!

Saturday, May 26th, 2007

Wosh!
I am so tired, starring at the monitor for almost 8 hours.
Recently, i’ve been busy doing research on my coming Macau, Hk,
ShenZhen trip.

Infact, ppl says, why shall i need to do so much
research since i am following tour. But for me, if can get more info,
the better. At least i wont feel "sa sa de" when i reach there. As we
are not fully on tour, everything must be ready just in case any
unwanted things happened la. Touch Wood!

Ladies and gentlemen, if you interested to go travel, but yet u do not have much information, you can always log on to http://chinese.cari.com.my
. This is a wonderful site, you can always refer to their forum. And
i’ve got all the info i need, i am ready to go for the travel.
P/S: Its in Chinese.

Co-incidence??

I dunno why, or when it start, but should be in
this few years, its very coincidence that i always meet up with this
number. And the most frequent time is when i am looking at the time. It
must be ending with 37.

Like every morning when i wake up , i see my digital big clock, 8.37am.

Every or when i done opening shop, its 9.37am. on my laptop.

Then every night when i reach home, its 9.37pm.

Ha Ha.. maybe 37 is my lucky number??

Visitng Bali - Day 03

Sunday, May 13th, 2007

Yeap! I am here again! Continuing
my DAY 03 @

BALI

. Watch Out this is going to
be Super LoSo! If u r busy, come back next time. Haha!!!

Actually i’m currently preparing the tour to HK. Dear friends, don’t think i am
showing off here.. its just "addicted" to travel liao. I’m in big
trouble now, why? my savings getting less and less. So my HK trip shall be very
tight budget, sorry if i dun get u any souvenir! :P lame excuse..

Day 03, it begins! So in Day2, we went to so many places, if u can’t recall, u
r always welcome to read back. Our 4d3n trip is actually quite short. However,
we managed to go most of the "important places". Day 03 trips feels
like more interesting. In our itinerary, we are supposed to visit 3 temples!
Hehe… I know you surely "FROWN" your brows, cos temple normally for
those superstitious or elderly. But you are wrong, temples in

BALI

are all very nice, nice with the landscape, nice with the weather and nice with
the antique buildings.
Inna_view_1

Begins from our hotel. I guess u
haven’t have a look of the view of our hotel.

Yes
our hotel is very near to the beach. It’s a beach resort. Its wonderful to stay
here although it looks quite old. But you are on vacation only, short term, so
don’t be so choosy as long as its convenient, clean and tidy

Uluwatu_temple_1

Today our first visit goes to

Uluwatu

Temple

. Suppose we were arranged to go
on Day 01 but too bad, our flight arrives at nite, a lot of things we’ve
missed. The temple is located at the level 250 feet’s above the sea level on
the cliff of southern point of Pura Luhur.

NOTE:: So if u r going

BALI

, make sure
your flight arrives in the day time. Be wiser oh!

Pak Satria, our tour guide, insist
saying that there were a lot of Monkeys in Uluwatu, and the monkeys are all
very aggressive. He warned us not to wear any accessories or glasses, just
incase the monkey snatch it. Well, I was so tension when I heard tat. Will the
monkey come and snatch my camera?? Sounds so serious o!??

 Uluwatu_2_1

From
the outlook of this temple , i can only define it as ‘ old ‘ . Cos it wasn’t decorated
like any other temple. We have to walk and climb stair case to reach the cliff.
Took around 2 mins walk and we saw the beautiful scene. Satria told us the
higher we go, the scene looks nicer. Tat’s true! We took a lot of picture there. The origin of Uluwatu =ulu -hujung, the end. Watu-batu
means rock. Yeap we r up at the rocky ends. Looking down from there, we sea the
indian ocean. It’s really a beautiful view.

And why I din mentioned about
monkey? Where are all the monkey gone? The monkeys were still sleeping around
10am. Too early to wake up. That’s why not much coming out. Since ntg fun with
monkey, so we just left the temple after the cycloramic view of

Uluwatu

Temple

. It’s a worth visit!

Bmr_1
From uluwatu to Nusa Dua
takes around 40 minutes, due to all the roads in

Bali

are small and narrow, we can’t drive fast. What’s more we are in a traveler’s
bus. We reach tg. Benoa to meet up the other members of our tour. Tg. Benoa is
a beach that is popular for water sport activities. All around Tg. Benoa are
surrounded by 5 stars hotel or resorts. A lot of tourists stay here for
vacation. Talk about Nusa Dua , its actually a bit slightly different from
other places in kuta. This is a very clean and peaceful place. Government
convention centre also took place here.

Coral_island_1 They went to Coral Island and play water sports at BMR. While waiting for other members
to finish their water sport activities, we take sometime enjoy at the beach. We
took pictures, and even pretend we took part with the water sport, such as jet
ski and flying jet. The flying jet is very expensive, which is available only
at

Bali

. (but I heard

Sabah

also got) So if you like, you can try. But all these water sport are not cheap.
Prepare few hundreds ringgit for it!

Hairstyling_1

Under the bright sunny day, i
went to do hairstyling. Due to curiosity laR!  Supposedly the ‘tie-ing’ or “bang bian zhi”
will look nice. But mine not so good… I paid rp25000, =rm 10 only. And all
were done by old lady, they treat my head like coconut, simply pull simply tie,
it hurts!! Better do it at the town, more professional hair stylist o! But also
more expensive lar~

Babiguling_1

Next destination, time for lunch.
But we r going to a very far place, need to go up a very high mountain.Takes 2 hours to reach there. Pak Satria bought us some snacks to eat , that’s Babi Guling. You must try, its roasted pork with Belacan. Taste so good.  Its available along the road side, at those small warung. You will notice the signboard along the roadside.

Bedugul_padi_1

On the way up to the mountain, we pass by a lot of Padi field.. I think its also available in Malaysia.

The restaurant is just opposite
the lake. Its buffet style again. Up on the mountain the air is fresh &
cool. The weather are just fine, we don’t feel hot. After lunch, we quickly
take a chance to the opposite lake and took pictures. Satria keep telling us,
the next destination will be nicer. Told us to be patient. Haiya we are just so

sakai

lar.. Go to where, capture to where..

Temple

of the
lake – I actually not very sure the exact name of this lake. The tourist told
us “bedugul” tats in Indo accents. However in our list, its written

Beratan

Lake

Temple

.
Wat ever, as long as u say temple of the lake, there’s only 1 in

Bali

, I think. The lake up on a mountain. Strange?? Tat’s why it attracted so many tourist to visit. The
temple is located in beside the lake. When the water is low tide, they can walk
through it otherwise they might need to swim over, I think?

Lunchbetegul_1

Lake_temple_1_2

I feel very peaceful when we
reach this temple. By the way, talk about temple again, In

Bali

,
90% are Hinduism. Somehow, bear in your mind; temple must be a very holy place.
Places for the believers to pray. In

Bali

,
their temples are designated more like a park. It surrounded by beautiful
scenery, such as sea, mountain or lake. You wont feel scary even if u r not
their believers. Trust Me!

We were given 1 hour at this place.
But the scene is just too nice, we are so busy taking photos. Mr. Poh even run ,
too excited I guess. At the entrance there were a small market selling goodies,
to travelers. Food, clothes and more on souvenirs, are all available here. We
start Go! Go! Go! after photo takings. We bought so many things. But they told
us, there are even more at Tanah Lot.–> next destination. Ok.. So we
controlled. And wait till Tanah Lot. :O

Temple_of_the_lake_1

Takes another 2 hours to reach
Tanah Lot. It seems so far, as we were up on the mountain, and now go down to
the beach. Finally, we reach
a temple which is perched on a rocky
outcrop in the sea located at the west coasts of

Bali

.
That’s Tanah LOT.

Tanah_lot_1In the previous destination, tourists seem not
tat much. But when we reach here, the tourist seems 10x more. Tanah Lots really
attract a lot of tourist. While u can enjoy with the beautiful scene, the other
side you can enjoy shopping. If going to Bali, and never been to Tanah Lot,
means you never been to

BALI

. No regret o!

Now
the temple is by the seaside. The waves are strong, and we took picture near to
the waves. Its actually quite danger to so, therefore there will be lifeguard
by the seaside to watch over the safety of tourist. Just in case we get blown
away by the waves. I also dunno how to describe the temple. But maybe you can
just have a look at the pictures.

Group_tanah_lot

Shopping_tanah_lot_1

Shopping
time begins! Cant wait this minute to come. I bought bags, dress, pants,
slippers, photo album (must) and souvenirs.

Take note: In all these type of
markets, you always have to bargain. ASK FOR DISCOUNT, not 10%, not 20% not 50%
but up to 70%.

Of cos as a Malaysian, u ada untung lar.. Cos u
can bargain in Bahasa

Malaysia

.
The accent have to act a bit like Bahasa Indon, then they will feel more closer
“ mesra “ with you. Then discount also kuat kuat lo. The bags are like “rotan”
bags, its mostly handmade. Meanwhile, there are lot of imitated t-shirts and
pants. The quality of cos not good, but ntg wrong if u by RM5 a pants , printed
BillaBong. Wear to sleep lar!!~ Photo albums also a must to buy, cos its also
handmade – a bit like recycle style, and written

BALI

.
Nice?? And lastly souvenirs, if u dunno wat to buy, u can always buy your
friend a “dick”. Poh bought a lot of “dicks” from

Bali

.
Haha. Its actually wood carved dick. Looks very real, and in different colours
diiferent sizes. You know lar.. international mar!

Shopping_results_1
Its been a pretty tired day. The tour ends
dinner at Selera Kuring. The dinner is only “ma ma dei”. So So … but that’s the
only restaurant which is air conditioned. And also there will be singers come
to your table and sing whatever languages songs. This time we are wiser, we all
“zha so”. U know wat it means? We pretend dunno anything, and din give any
tips. Haha.. Everyone seems so excited tho we were tired. After dinner we were
sent back to our hotel. And it was time to say goodbye to the other tour mate,
as we will be leaving the next day.

Dinner_1 The nite still young, 3 of us joined Mr.Ng from KL went our exploring Jln Kuta. Since this is the last nite, we tried to find out anything interesting. Kuta street is full of tourist even tho it turns late. We went to souvenir shops, branded shops, etc etc. Things at Kuta Street mostly doing cheap sale. But even tho is cheap sale, its still expensive. We din buy much, just get some souvenirs for friends.

Its been a very tired day.

That’s
the end of Day 3. The next day will be free & easy in the day time, since
our flight was on 8pm. I think I am getting more LOSO. But I just dun wish I
miss out anything to tell you mar.. sorry lo.. hehe..I promise , Day 4 will be shorter and summarized. So do
catch up ya~~~ Muak muak~

Fed-up with tis Blog

Tuesday, May 8th, 2007

I really ever think of moving to some other blog hosting but i have no idea how to maintain my own site. Tats pretty tiring things.

Today i’ve browse through several blogger’s site, and i feel amazed that they can manage their side so well. If me? i think the whole site must be a mess. At least they have such knowledge on how to host, how to maintain , etc etc.. tats why i Write in my MSN, " i need someone to guide me on html and css". Those coding thingy really brings me headache! I dunno how to design good website, i dunno where to dig all fancy things.. i dunno anything. haha..

If i tell u , i got a Dip. Information System, you surely think i "curi balik". I think i surrender, tats why i forgotten everything about IT.

So as a lazy and lousy blogger - Me, maybe i should stay here in Friendster. Although in Friendster blog, everything seems so limited, and i cant do this and tat. Or its all customized properly with little choices, but still ok la. FREE one wor?! Wat do u expect? At least i still got some readers like you. Cos u are my friends. Why shall i open up my blog to ppl tat i dunno le? Am i correct? Err… a bit "mao dun". hahaha.. nvm..
200603070801081

Wait until i found "Angel" who can guide me, then only i think of moving out of Friendster Blog lar.. :P

Coming up is my Bali Trip Day 3 entry. Hope u will enjoy reading , especially Kenny and Kinki who commented its not loso! haha..

Visitng Bali - Day 02

Thursday, May 3rd, 2007

Finally i’m ready for Day 2. Its too boring, the whole shopping centre seems so quiet. So i quickly photoshop-ed my photos.. and now i can start blogging. But its really tired to re-arrange those photo lar, i have to pick which is nice, crop, adjust lighting & contrast, resize, put effects.. Bla bla..

So lets start. The begin of Day 2 is actually the real begin of our tour.
Day2at_hotel

Breakfast at hotel. Its not so nice, but we still have to eat, else later "kelaparan" / hungry not so good lar…

So excited, we started a brand new day. Early morning, we start taking pictures. This is out at our hotel rooms. Poh manage to take picture with the housekeeper. All the staffs are wearing the Balinese costumes.

Day2barong

The first destination. We visited the Barong & Kris Dance. My opinion: I dont like this show. Its too scary to watch especially for kids. But honestly , the show is ok la!. The Barong is just like Chinese Lion Dance, that comes out to scare away the evil.

Day2batik

Next destination, BATIK FACTORY. Sounds so boring hor? Also available in Msia mar.. But our tour guide insist that its different from Malaysia one… A lot of ppl from Msia or Spore come to buy their Batik. Haha. For us, we are totally out of interest, except…. the "live" batik drawing. Haha.. too bad i was wearing a purple shirt , and the batik painting seems not so clear. But take a look at the " dragon". Does it looks great? I am just too generous, i gave her rp15,000 (RM6) just for tat flower. Its so expensive liao ho!! There’s actually not only Batik , but also other things for sale. Such as drawings. See the picture of ahYen, my skill good le, so nice ritE? She’s actually just beside the drawing, but i made it perfect fit to the drawing. Nyek nyek nyek..
Day2curious

All the way to our destinations, we see a lot of strange things, that brings up my curiosity to capture it down.

While in the bus, we SAW how they sell newspapers. I couldn’t believe that the newspaper were sell like hot cakes even its so expensive. Do u know how much? Its rp25,000 / RM10 (Mandarin) and rp12,500/ RM5 for (INGGRIS).

Also we see a lot of Carving, STONE and WOOD. All along at Jln. MAS, u can see varies shop, selling same thing but different carving. Tat’s weird. And did u notice, there’s a man in picture wearing "Army" uniforms. That’s a traffic officer. And tat car plate, is our traveling bus. There’s much more weird things we SAW, but i just couldn’t list it our one by one.

We visited a very boring cum expensive Silver Factory. See the 50% sign? I don’t know wat for they put a big sign since its off 50% for the whole year. And even after 50% there could be another 10% again. So generous meh? Actually they had set up a very high price for ‘us’ tourist to buy. But never ever be cheated ok? The silver we can get in Msia with a very cheap price, totally not special at all. Maybe its good to cheat "AngMoh" lar…Again, i really want to emphasized, BALI is really a place for ANGMOH. All the things they mark up is just to earn ANGMOH money. Hai…

Day2coffee_copy

Next, we were up to Mt. Kintamani. Its takes 2 hours to ride up the mountain. So far away from Denpasar. Finally we reached the cocoa Farm. I am so excited, cos finally i found a place to "PEE". Hahaha.. the air of the mountain of cos fresh and cool. We tried the "coffee, cocoa and ginger tea". Since its free, we take all. But when they asked us to buy, we said "thank you". Cos i think our "alicafe or nescafe or milo" is much more nicer le.. But the view from the mountain of cos is good. Since we climb so far away, must enjoy taking photo, else its all wasted.
Day2lunch

Our stomach started drumming.. but its yet to reach the restaurant. Around 1 pm finally we reach there. Its a buffet style Balinese food. Taste normal. Except one, TUNA SATAY. I only ever tasted chicken or beef that’s the very common in M’sia. At first we just couldn’t imagine its made from fish. So for the second round, i captured down the dish name, and proven its FISH! Haha.. wat if the dish name was wrongly spell, instead of TINA it wrote TUNA. TINA mean a humans name. That might be Human’s MEAT. Yuck~~~ Gila..

The most GILA things also happened at Mt.Kintamani. Just because there were a lot of tourist attracted up visiting the Batur Volcanic basin, hence there were a lot of salesperson trying to sell things to us. Its so headache to see them, even you are eating, they can still ask u to buy their things. Don’t be over sympathy to them, our tour guide said, thats the tradition. Why? Just to attract tourist. Earn tourist money.  Its no wrong also if you are willing to pay more money, in fact they money is to help the poor ones. rite?? Charity mar!

Day2mtkintamarket
The view of Mt. Kintamani was totally spoiled, due to the rain.So we directed to the "Market". Its shopping time. Well, we were so stupid, we bought so much things from the market. Its actually much more cheaper  at Tanah Lot. But we are just so impatient. End up spending rp400k just in the market. Buy wat? Buy souvenir for u lo! Hai… waste money :P

Day2spa

Last event of Day2. Of cos we went to RELAX. Bali is very popular with SPA. Tats part of the thing i "tot" i would enjoy..We went to BALIWIS SPA at Nusa Dua.

We spent rp250,000  / RM100 for the spa. The environment is good. 2 person in a room, of cos Yen & i in a room lar. The massage was so "timing". Both massager do the same steps, even knocking also at the same bit. Just like "an automated machines". At first our tour guide told us we can request them to massage harder or massage "which" part we want more. Haha.. but who knows, they were just like a machine, do watever command that is pre-programmed! Adui.. after massaging, we were ask to bath naked outside our room, of cos other ppl cannot see, but Yen & I can see each other ba! Still paiseh lo~ Nvm, we bath with TOWEL on. Tat’s a bit funny .. Lastly, we enjoyed SPA-ing in the flower bath tub. But who knows….. there were stg like "scorpion" inside the tub. That’s really scary~!!! We shout like hell, and quickly get change and check out . Supposedly we went there to Enjoy but end up giving us a big HEADACHE. Hai..

This time the stomach is really hungry. Its already 8pm, we havent taken our dinner since the last meal at 1pm. From Nusa Dua it still takes 40mins back to Kuta. But our tourguide, "SATRIA" –Proton Car, always wrongly estimated the time. We reach there for dinner at 9pm. But its worth… Lets see..

Day2_dinnerending This place called : Pawon Pasundan. I totally dun get wat does it mean. From the sign board, i tot it would be stg like Steam Pot. But i was wrong. It served good food. We enjoyed it. The environment a bit like Japanese style, somehow it served Balinese food. The most popular dish, Flying Fish. Its deep fried fish, and it decorated as its flying. Comes along our own portion of food, that contains of Fried Chicken, ABC soup, Nasi Balut - tat’s wrap by banana leaves and also ULAM - vege with sambal belacan.

Around 10.30pm we reached our Hotel. Its damn tiring. At first we tot we still manage to go HARD ROCK cafe. Who knows, once we arrive hotel, is like a dead fish. Totally don’t feel to move. Sigh.. that’s the end of DAY 2. Its pretty long, but at least in detailed mar.. I know i am LoSo..
