没文化的文化节!!!
A cultural festival that does not have culture!!!

This is once a year cultural festival happening at Sibu. Bringing out the all the Sibu people to join the crowd. Somehow, it is quite disappointing that the event brings up cons instead of pros.

These are wat i found out:

1. Lack of parking spaces, hence public simply park on illegal parking. Somehow, the very hardworking SMC - Sibu Municipal Council start working at nite to give summons to those illegal parkers. It sounds right to give them summons, but in such a big festive, who still cares if its legal or not legal?  Somehow the main concern of the public was why only lousy cars get summon? why those luxury cars are free of summons? Is tat mainly most of the luxury cars are the rich ppl that you shouldnt against them? Or because they might be part of gangsters and the SMC try to avoid conflictions? No one knows the answer better than them.

2. Last nite, our car has been break in. AGAIN. Lucky nothing was lost or damage. Its another shocked for us. We tot this time sure a big lost. Maybe the theft run out of time since the alarm rings. Another culture that we should learn. Car burglar got more business since more cars available to be choose. >.<

3. In the local press today, a girl was raped, where?? Yes, 15 years old young girl was bring to be raped at the Town Square. Well, it means that the place of the cultural festival held. Hmm.. its kinda pity to that girl. But this raper also too desperate lar. Why rape people at such place, some it took place during day time! That’s his culture.

4. Just now when I was about to go home, a gang of goverment servant were dismiss from the festive and about to go home. The great thing is, everyone gathered at their motobike, and start to PEE against the wall. HEY!! Why are they so stupid? Why cant they go to the toilet? Goverment staff konon!! Do such act, really menyiasoikan! Their culture.. takes turns to pee against the wall, in public car park.

The culture of Sibu, makes me see the bad side more than the good one. I cant do anything, but just express out my feeling here. I’m not the goverment nor the senators. I’m just a small resident living in this place. Who am i? I am nothing.

Tomorrow shall be a better day.

The DIGi never stop entertaining the publics.
Once ago, it was the DIGI YCF - yellow coverage fellow.
Today here comes a group of 4 teenagers having street dance.
They are very hardworking, dance since 9am in da hot day.
Somehow they didn’t dance so well, but their spirit is worth to learn.

Wonderful Morning

Friday, June 22nd, 2007

Good Morning everyone, Go! Go! Go! a good Smile Ahead of a lucky day!

Seriously, i need better luck for today. Why?
Lets talk back of what i did last nite.

It was once a year, Borneo Festival, take place at Sibu for 2 weeks. And yesterday, it was the launching of the event. Seems like everyone in Sibu had come out to join the crowd. In fact, it was just trade & fun fair. The actual event has not yet started. Somehow, I also dunno why, my staffs keep asking me to go, so I have no choice but to bring them there. And here comes the story of my "Good Morning".

It was all the Rocky roads, i mean, the walking surface covered by the rocks, not the tar road. Ok? So it was SO and VeRY uncomfortable for me to wear a bit high heels sandals to walk around. End up, it sore my feet. The leg once again, not belongs to me!! Geramnya!!!!!!!!! Wat to do, to be good to my staff, have to sacrifice lar! :’(

Story continues, the pain was gone this morning, somehow, the skin of my foot was just so flat, as if no brake?.. haha.. and when i walk to the toilet, and .. i ……. FALL DOWN!! Who should be blame?? BLAME myself for so clumsy lar.. AhBui fall down.. Paiseh lar.. Luckily it was not a deep impact, no pain no hurt no blood…what a GOOD MORNING.. >.<

Anyway, a lil’ talk of my prev HK trip, i am trying to gather my travel info, just to finish up my - unpublish HK blog, somehow, i found i lost or misplace my things. I cant find some of my photos, also where is my "MICKEY KEY CHAIN"??? so expensive, and also some brochures.. I was just too bz, no time to tidy up my bag. Hmm.. lame excuse. Somehow, i found something, it was left a few pieces of "KOI KEI Almond Biscuits" inside a bag. Hehe..

Just some appetizers for you all, before have the main course of my HK trip blog.  Haha.. i know some of my friends has been eagerly to see those picture, but give me some time ok?? U know lar.. i have more than 2000 pictures to arrange lar. :P

Introducing, "KOI KEI Almond Biscuits".
Koi_kei
This is the only souvenir i got back from my last trip. I mean, at least its edible, and its nice, and good looking for souvenir.

This is MACAU best selling biscuits. As we can see, most of the tourist will buy, and especially from this shop, Koi Kei. It has been 5 years through best selling shops. I wonder why, but it has so many outlet throughout the whole MACAU, include TAIPA. Hmmm….

I had 2 slices of biscuit for my breakfast just now. The biscuit melt in my mouth, somehow i feel very thirsty after eating it. Probably its because of the almond nut inside.

KoiKei not only selling almond biscuit, it also sell Ba Gua, - bbq pork, some tidbits and the very popular again, Portuguese Egg Tart. MOP6 each slice. Terrible!!! It was so nice..especially when it was hot. But sorry, no pic now, just stay on for my HK blog to be uploaded lar..

o.K lar! till Here. Stay tune o.. :P

The above email looks like so officially it was really sent out by Air Asia.
But if you really read into it, actually the email subject is quite obvious, prank!
"Subject : Air Asia free ticket - Original(BT0232-Sent)"

Normally Air Asia newsletter wont pop out with such subject. If you subscribe to Air Asia newsletter, you will notice it.

Ok, tell me, what’s your response if you receive such an email?

Will you,
1. Jump and shout, i got free ticket happily?
2. Tell around your friends?
3. Suspect if its real or fake?

Or whatever you can do..

So i am categorized as no.3.

The friend of mine, asked me to check my email, to see if i receive it as well. Its true, i receive it as well. But I start to suspect it when i read through all the details. It clone as its really from AirAsia, but there’s still tiny mistakes tat people wont easily notice.

This is what i found :
(pls enlarge to see)

Airasia.html
Airasia_html

Somehow, to confirm this is all prank, i made a call to my friend who works at AirAsia, to verify all these. She told me, she dunno such promotions, and ask me to forward to her as well.

In our conversation, we found a big query.
I asked for her email address, its @airasia.com. and i confirmed with her again, no .my? she says, NO. AirAsia never has .my.

The story goes more interesting.

Original_air_asia_1
This is the original Air Asia website.

I checked back the AirAsia newsletter, truly its all @airasia.com only. There’s never end with .my. This reminds me the story of "the truth about prepaid.com". Its a little bit similar to that.

Now my only query is, WHO did all these prank? WHY they do all this? What is the benefit they get?

I suspect they want our email account and sign in password??
Or this may help to lead to our e-banking????
And it can transfer out all our money????

Guess i think too much.
But somehow, please be careful handling such promotions, especially when everyone see the words "FREE".

All the above statements are base on what i see, and what i verified. Not to harm anyone but just to prevent any unwanted things to happen to all my dear friends. >.< FYI - For Your Information only.

Good but not Perfect

Sunday, June 10th, 2007

I am back, 7.30am we reached MIRI AIRPORT. The feeling is just so good, when you reach home, breathing the air that you used to be. ;)

Havent have time to arrange the photo of HongKong, ShenZhen & Macau trip. Somehow, still have those deep feelings to drop it here.

Everything was just so smooth, flights are also punctual, everything was well planned. Somehow nothing was perfect, the holiday mood was not fully satisfied. ;)

The travel agent did a good arrangement for us, i feel very grateful for that, as i think i get more than wat i pay.

The weather was just too humid and hot, and i gets darker skin tone. ERRR!!

I’m tired, tomorrow need to fly back to Sibu. Time to work as well, have been leaving for 1 week, time to cover back everything.

My travel log will be update quite soon…so catch up ya~
